Mass at Notre Dame

This evening we attended 6:30pm mass at Notre Dame. Even though the entire mass was spoken in French we were taken aback by the beauty and receiving communion there. (We will have a full tour of the Cathedral on Wednesday.) Dinner in the Latin Quarter with a little shopping followed by a walk home around Jardin du Luxembourg. We had to walk around the perimeter (another great math problem!) of the park because all iron gates were locked. After all it was around 9:30pm, but still light out. We arrived back at our apartment around 10:15 pm and it was dusk. Food for the day: tough call -- chocolate frosted eclaire with chocolate cream filling or our baguette lunch on the steps of Versailles ! Hmmmmmmm. What would you pick ?
