This museum displays art mostly relating to Montmartre's rebellious and bohemian past. I did not go there for this. I went because this 17th century manor home is one of the oldest in the Montmartre section of Paris. It was once home to many artists; one of the most famous to live there was Renoir. This was my consolation prize for not seeing his works in the Musee d'Orsay. I was able to see where he once lived.
