We met our guide Belem outside the Moulan Rouge. We were then taken on a 3 hour historical walking tour of Montmartre and Sacre Coeur. Belem was extremely knowledgable and we had a fabulous time with her. We learned a lot about the history of Montmartre but also had good conversation about living in Paris and a bit about primary education. I dared to ask some political questions about French views and found it interesting to see what a non-American thinks about the issues. We were able to take pictures outside the home where Vincent Van Gogh once lived as well as Picasso. I will let the picture of Sacre Coeur speak for itself. Lesson of the day: stemming from the political conversation - Countries should treat others the way they would like to be treated in return. Food for the day: escargot !!!
